Dr. Ardiansyah Putra
Role: Founder & Chief Sustainability Officer
Credentials: Ph.D. in Marine Biology from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), PADI Divemaster, Certified Marine Naturalist.
Bio: Dr. Ardiansyah is the visionary behind our eco-luxury mission. With over 15 years of field research experience in the Coral Triangle, his work on the acoustic impact of boat traffic on cetacean behavior was the catalyst for creating a silent, electric fleet. He oversees all our sustainability initiatives, from carbon offsetting programs to our partnerships with organizations like WWF Indonesia and Conservation International. Ardiansyah ensures that every aspect of our operation, from route planning to waste management, adheres to the highest scientific and ethical standards, as detailed in our Editorial Standards. Captain Iwan Santoso
Role: Fleet Captain
Credentials: Ahli Nautika Tingkat I (ANT I) from the Indonesian Maritime Academy, STCW Certified, 20+ years of experience navigating Indonesian waters.
Bio: Captain Iwan is a master of the Indonesian archipelago. Born into a family of seafarers in Sulawesi, the sea is in his blood. He has helmed everything from traditional Phinisi schooners to modern superyachts, but his passion lies in the technical challenge and environmental reward of commanding our electric vessels. His encyclopedic knowledge of Raja Ampat’s currents, tides, and hidden anchorages is unparalleled. Captain Iwan is responsible for the safety and navigation of our fleet, ensuring every journey is not only breathtaking but also impeccably safe, adhering to all regulations from the Direktorat Jenderal Perhubungan Laut.
Sofia Wijaya
Role: Head of Guest Experience
Credentials: B.A. in Hospitality Management from Swiss Hotel Management School, formerly with Aman Resorts and Nihi Sumba.
Bio: Sofia is the architect of the seamless luxury experience you will enjoy onboard. With a distinguished career managing some of the world’s most exclusive resorts, she brings a meticulous eye for detail and an intuitive understanding of personalized service. Sofia curates every touchpoint of your journey, from your initial inquiry to your bespoke dining menus and private excursions. She trains our onboard crew to deliver service that is not just attentive but also warm, authentic, and deeply connected to Indonesian hospitality. David Manupassa
Role: Lead Expedition Guide & Cultural Liaison
Credentials: Certified Raja Ampat Local Guide, PADI Rescue Diver, English and Bahasa Indonesia fluency.
Bio: David is your bridge to the heart and soul of Raja Ampat. Born and raised in a village near the Dampier Strait, he possesses an intimate knowledge of the region’s ecosystems, folklore, and cultural traditions that no textbook could ever provide. As a certified guide, he leads snorkeling and diving expeditions to secret spots, pointing out rare macro critters and majestic mantas with equal enthusiasm. David also facilitates our respectful and meaningful interactions with local communities, ensuring our visits are welcome, beneficial, and culturally sensitive. His stories and insights bring the magic of West Papua to life.
Rina Agustina
Role: Charter Operations Manager
Credentials: Certified Travel Professional (ASITA), IATA Certified, Logistics and Operations Specialist.
Bio: Rina is the master coordinator who ensures every logistical detail of your trip is flawless. From coordinating flights into Sorong’s Domine Eduard Osok Airport (SOQ) with carriers like Garuda Indonesia to arranging seamless ground transfers and ensuring all permits and park fees are in order, Rina is the organizational powerhouse behind the scenes. Her extensive network and deep understanding of Indonesian travel regulations guarantee a smooth, stress-free journey from the moment you book until you depart.
